Hemphill Schools was founded in 1920 by Mr Ralph Hemphill in Vancouver, Canada, and in 1923 started with the first school in the USA. His son Mr Calvin R Hemphill became his successor and in 1947 started distance learning schools in Latin America. Mr Arturo Delgado succeeded as president in 1980. Approximately 200,000 students have finished their home studies, thus improving their knowledge and their financial position.
